To
assure that your production goes flawlessly, we enlist your help.
Please allow sufficient time to establish a rental account with
Citation by completing our Account Application and Rental Agreement
- Terms and Conditions this should take only a few minutes to
complete. Usually time is of the essence, a return, via fax, will
expedite this necessary process. If you are requesting an open
credit account, please provide our business manager with the trade
and credit references we require. We respectfully request all
new accounts being established, as advance deposit / balance upon
completion terms until a working relationship is established.
For your convenience, we also accept major credit cards.
Please note our insurance requirements and request that your agent
forward a duly endorsed insurance certificate covering all areas
as stated in our rental contract. An acceptable certificate of
insurance must be on file prior to the release of any equipment.
At your request, we may choose to provide limited, equipment only,
$1000.00 deductible, major loss / damage coverage for a fee based
upon rack rate and duration of rental. Please consult with a rental
manager as to the fees and limited terms of this convenience.
Early contact with a rental manager will assist you in budgeting
your equipment requirements and help in making your specific needs
known so that we may put a hold on key items for your shoot. Our
rental management computer software assures you of prompt, accurate
and complete quotes for your review and approval. Our rental managers
will consider all equipment on hold with first right of refusal.
If there is a possible conflict arising with another production
for a specific item, we will make every effort to contact you
so that you may confirm or release that items rental for the specific
date. If you cannot confirm your hold within a reasonable time,
we will make the item available to the pending project. Rest assured
that we will make every effort to minimize this possibility and
with our depth of inventory it rarely becomes a factor. If however
we cannot provide an item from our inventory, we will make every
effort to secure your request from other sources. Rental charges
for these items may be at rates other than those published by
Citation or charged at full day rates.
As your shoot approaches, please consider the time we must have
to properly maintain, prepare and load your package. Early location
scouts and timely final approval of the package and budget will
help avoid any late load or early opening fees.
Generally equipment is available for pick up after 9:00am the
first day of your shoot and must be returned to our facility by
10:00am the day following your production. Please help us maintain
equipment availability by meeting these times, we appreciate your
consideration. Late returns may incur additional rental charges.
Out of town rentals will be a minimum of a two day rental charge.
Rental starts the day of shipment and continues until all items
are physically returned to our facility. All common carrier shipments
will go collect and must be returned pre paid. Any return collect
fees will be marked up 25% and billed to you. Citation Support,
Inc., will not be held responsible for any common carriers performance,
please allow adequate time for normal shipment. Assure that your
insurance provides coverage of equipment while in transportation
with a common carrier.
If your production takes you out of the United States, please
request written authorization from an officer of Citation Support,
Inc. If we permit foreign use of our equipment, you are singularly
responsible for registration with U.S. and foreign customs agencies.
No rental adjustment will be made for improper documentation,
impoundment or delays by customs for any reason. We have assisted
many foreign productions and will be happy to share our experiences
with you.
Upon return of equipment we will inventory and inspect all items
and report any loss or damage to you as soon as possible. We will
invoice appropriate charges for any lost or damaged items and
any rental charges for items returned late. Upon completion of
your project, we will rapidly and accurately generate an invoice
detailing all services, rentals and sales items consumed so that
a budget actualization may be performed by your production personnel.
Citation Support, Inc., will be glad to provide instructions regarding
the use of our equipment upon your request. However, we cannot
be held responsible for the accuracy or completeness of these
instructions. It is your sole responsibility that all electrical
equipment be operated in compliance with the current National
Electric Code and any local codes that are applicable. While we
will be happy to assist you in crewing your production, we reserve
the right of prior approval or designation of certified drivers
or operators of our equipment. Citation Support, Inc., will not
be held accountable for the performance of any recommended crew
member. No warranty of performance is made for the equipment other
than it being in working condition when it leaves our facility.
Our equipment is offered for inspection and testing prior to your
production. Citation Support, Inc., is not responsible for any
loss resulting from the use or misuse of its equipment or supplies.
Please check your order thoroughly before signing any rental contract.
The quantities and condition of the equipment and supplies must
be noted on this rental contract as it is the binding document
governing your production. Burned out lamps must be returned for
credit. Broken or nonreturned lamps will be charged for at list
prices.
Following is a copy of our latest rental contract, it defines
our agreement with regard to the previous paragraphs and will
govern all present and future business relations between Citation
Support, Inc., and you until a modification of the text has been
made. For your convenience, we are enclosing a sample Certificate
of Insurance and letter detailing our minimum insurance requirements.
Finally, Citation has grown since 1980 in its production support
of national, regional and local commercials, music videos, feature
films, network television specials and corporate productions and
events totaling over 10,000 projects both large and small. If
